"The Kevin Cline Trio is spectacular!"
They performed at our black-tie wedding in Chicago last October. We couldn't have asked for a more talented band. They were very professional, and played a large variety of music ranging from jazz to old classics. We would recommend them highly!

Oct. 17th, 2008 at the Hotel Sofitel Chicago:
“Kevin Cline did a great job during his performance for our annual gala event. He did exactly what we had asked him to do: play smooth music from the 1920's during our cocktail and dinner. His music repertoire is vast and our guests commented on the quality of the music. Kevin even stayed longer than what we had originally planned as our event was running behind schedule. He is a great pianist and very flexible and I would hire him again for a future event.”

Sept. 16th, 2006 wedding at Shedd Aquarium: April 29th, 2006 at Sutton Place Hotel in downtown Chicago/wedding for Melinda Joseph: "Dear Kevin, You were great! You did exactly what I asked you to do without much fuss at all. We told you what we wanted months before the wedding and you didn't even think twice about it until the week of. You did an amazing job! I think I may have called you with some changes the week before the wedding and you just took it all in stride and did exactly what we were looking for. From the very first phone conversation you gave us the confidence to let you do your job, and saying you did it well doesn't give you the justice you deserve! We will definitely recommend you to everyone we know! Thanks again, Melinda"
April 10th, 2006 at the Mid-America Club (80th floor of the Aon Building) for the American Society of Andrology:
"Kevin, What a great time! What I heard from the group was nothing but praise for the whole event. Your versatility and also sensitivity to the situation and the crowd was impressive. The pre-dinner piano music was just right. It was fun seeing several of the guests gathered around the piano, listening to Misty accompanying the clinking of glasses and the oohs and aahs as we all took in the view from the Mid-America club. Full moon on a clear night from 80 floors up with piano, nice! Then, and it was a great and pleasant surprise to me, the dinner music! As we sat chatting and eating the full band played some jazz classics at just the right volume for the room. Many of the guests danced between courses. Then, just as they cleared the tables, the lights dimmed, and Sundance the dance band emerged. Gloria Gaynor! Wow, it was great, everyone was on their feet. Scientists do like to dance. . The way you guys read the crowd was impressive. Your cranked it up a notch and I think nearly everyone was dancing-- past presidents of the society and students a like. Your band brought out the boggie in everyone. I don't know if its the singer or the horns-- or both, but you really capture that Chicago sound-- and hosting this meeting of international scientists; it was perfect. Of course being able to sit in and play the harp was such a treat for me. And did we tear the place down with "Sweet Home Chicago!" Wow, it was so fun. The Society president just happened to be named Sally-- so how perfect was that when we played Mustang Sally. Then Johnny B Goode! The place went wild. Seeing you and the singer dancing when I was playing the harp was really fun. And after all that energy, you came back with a nice slow ballad, and let everyone catch their breath. Your finale capped the evening off-- as you took to the floor with your trombone, all the ladies were swooning. I am so pleased I found you guys to play for our function and will absolutely hire you again. In the mean time, plan on seeing me at some of your club dates-- its about the most fun I've had in years." Yours in admiration and appreciation-- Buck Hales, Professor, UIC.

The guests kept commenting on how much they enjoyed the variety of music - so tastefully done. The "frosting on the cake" was that my daughter (a student of Kevin) got to play her flute as a special treat for her grandparents. Thanks so much Kevin - you really outdid yourself!"
